The show features rods and customs from 1996 and older. It’s the only show of its kind in Lehigh Valley featuring a long list of events for all family members.
For those new to the area, Wheels of Time Jamboree started in 1977 by a small group of street rodders that had been “Hot Rodders” back in years the term was used to describe them. They felt a need for an organization to promote Street Rodding in the Lehigh Valley.
The group started small by meeting in garages with all of them sharing the same ideals and interests. And from that was spawned this three-day event at Macungie Memorial Park.
Aside from beautiful custom cars and rods, there will be the famous “Teeter Totter” balancing beam where car owners can compete for a prize to see who can keep the beam balanced for the longest time. It’s a great family event.
There will be hard to find car parts booths for shopping as well as the “Car Corral” for cars on sale, over 200 Swap Meet and 100 Craft Vendors.
Added family treats include a basket raffle, ladies workshop, bingo, cake and snack walk for the ladies and even kids games including a kids candy toss. All for a full family event. There’s even a church service on Sunday.
